Cameron Bayne worked seven innings to lead the Birmingham Barons in a 5-3 win over the Biscuits on Thursday. Mike Sheridan homered, while Tyler Bortnick and Ty Morrison had Montgomery's other RBIs. Matt Buschmann, the reigning Southern League pitcher of the week, gave up four runs on 12 hits in 4 1/3 innings.
