Bailey on schedule for short-season debut

Catcher Luke Bailey, a fourth-round draft pick of the Rays last season despite Tommy John surgery, is throwing at full strength and is on schedule to make his debut this month, his agent said. Al Goetz, who I talked to for a different story that's running Sunday, said today that Bailey is doing well. Bailey, a former Auburn signee, is expected to play for Princeton or Hudson Valley.
