Birmingham first baseman Seth Loman and Mobile left-hander Patrick Corbin won the Southern League's weekly awards.
Loman was 13-for-27 with nine RBIs for the week running May 30-Sunday, including a five-hit, four-RBI Sunday. He's hitting .472 in his 10-game hitting streak.
Corbin threw 14 shutout innings in two wins over the week, allowing eight combined hits. He has a 19 2/3-inning scoreless streak over his last three starts, all wins.
