Lobstein reels in second Florida State League honor

Stone Crabs left-hander Kyle Lobstein, with a near-perfect seven innings Saturday, was the week's top pitcher in the Florida State League.

Lobstein allowed only an infield single -- a "questionable" infield single, according to Charlotte's release that night -- over seven shutout innings.

He's 4-2 with a 2.22 ERA this season, including 4-0 with a 1.39 over his last five starts. Lobstein, who has limited hitters to a .179 average, also won the weekly award for May 16-23.
