Omar Luna singled home Ty Morrison with the go-ahead run in the 10th inning of the Biscuits' 4-3 win over the Huntsville Stars on Thursday.
Montgomery has won five straight games, its longest winning streak since August 2010, and has a 3 1/2-game lead in the second-half Southern League South Division race.
Morrison also scored in the eighth inning to tie it. He reached on a bunt single and went to second on an error and scored on Mikie Mahtook's two-out infield single.
In the 10th, he hit a two-out single, stole second and scored on Luna's hit.
