Shawn O'Malley had three hits and scored twice to lead the Biscuits in a 5-2 win over the Jackson Generals on Sunday.
Nick Barnese posted a quality start in his second straight home game. After the Generals scored twice on three hits in the first inning, Barnese (3-1) was stellar over the next five. He gave up just three additional hits.
Mikie Mahtook hit a two-run home run to cap a three-run fifth that gave the Biscuits the lead. O'Malley singled and scored on an Omar Luna infield single for Montgomery's final run in the sixth.
