Bulls to face Storm Chasers for Triple-A crown

The Durham Bulls will face the Omaha Storm Chasers in Tuesday's Triple-A national championship game in Allentown, Pa.

Omaha won the Pacific Coast League title with a 10-5 win over Salt Lake on Saturday.

The Storm Chasers won the PCL series in four games and are 6-1 in the postseason.

Omaha, Kansas City's top affiliate, didn't have a player make the PCL's end-of-season All-Star team.

Right-hander Brian Sanches was the team's top pitcher, stats-wise. He finished 10-3 with a 3.20 ERA in the regular season and is 2-0 with a 1.69 ERA in the playoffs.

As far as hitting, third baseman Rey Navarro has a .409 average, five RBIs and six runs scored in the postseason. Omaha has four other players with four playoff RBIs.
