Former Biscuits reliever C.J. Riefenhauser was named to Baseball America's minor league All-Star team Thursday.
Riefenhauser was a combined 6-1 with 11 saves and a 1.22 ERA between the Biscuits and Triple-A Durham. Hitters amassed a .162 batting average, 19 walks and 70 strikeouts in his 73 2/3 innings.
The left-hander was a midseason Southern League All-Star and pitched a tidy scoreless inning in the Futures Game.
The 15-player team included five who played against the Biscuits this year: Marcus Semien and Erik Johnson of the Birmingham Barons, Joc Pederson of the Chattanooga Lookouts, Javier Baez of the Tennessee Smokies, and Archie Bradley of the Mobile BayBears.
