Jonathan Quinonez singled home Alejandro Segovia with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning of the Stone Crabs' 3-2 win over Daytona on Sunday.Charlotte staved off a sweep in the Florida State League's best-of-5 championship series. Game 4 is Monday.
The Crabs scored twice in the ninth. Jeff Malm hit an RBI single to tie it with one out just before Quinonez's game-winning hit.
Quinonez hit a pinch-hit home run to lead off the eighth.
Starter Felipe Rivero gave up one earned run on six hits in 6 2/3 innings.
