David Price pitched a seven-hitter and Evan Longoria shined offensively in the Tampa Bay Rays' 5-2 win over the Texas Rangers in Monday's American League wild-card tiebreaker.
The Rays will play at Cleveland on Wednesday in the AL wild-card game.
Price (10-8) recorded his fourth complete game with one walk and four strikeouts. Longoria hit a two-run home run in the third inning, doubled, singled and walked for the Rays.
Both the Rays and Rangers finished with a 91-71 record to force Monday's tiebreaker. Wednesday's winner starts a best-of-5 series at Boston on Friday.
