Cameron Seitzer knocked in a season-high four runs and the Biscuits finished the 2013 season with a winning record after Monday's 9-2 win over the Birmingham Barons.
Seitzer hit a two-run double to cap Montgomery's go-ahead five-run fourth inning that made it 7-2 and added a two-run single in the sixth.
Ryan Brett scored three times, his most since joining the Biscuits a month ago, and had three hits, including his first Double-A triple. Mikie Mahtook doubled, singled, walked twice, had an RBI and scored twice.
Jimmy Patterson, making his first start in a year, gave up two runs over six innings. Paterson (1-4) walked two and struck out six.
The Biscuits were 71-69 this season. With last year's 74-63 mark, Montgomery enjoyed back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since the 2006-07 Southern League championships.
