Biscuits limp in at fourth in league attendance

The Biscuits finished a franchise-worst fourth in the Southern League attendance race this year. Their 257,268 averaged out to 3,783, which was behind Jacksonville (4,419), Tennessee (3,960) and Birmingham (3,847).

After the Biscuits, there was lame duck Carolina (3,699), Chattanooga (3,409), Mobile (3,057), Mississippi (2,738), Jackson (1,641) and Huntsville (1,582).

By the way, Minor League Baseball's number doesn't match the Biscuits' announced attendance, which is what is listed above. The differences ...
April 10: 2,236 announced that night; 2,326 recorded by MiLB.
June 4: 5,515 announced; 5,561 recorded.
June 7: 2,119 announced; 1,119 recorded. (1,119 would be the smallest crowd in team history by more than 300.)
