John Wooden, one of the all-time basketball coaches and all-time gentlemen, died tonight in Los Angeles. He was 99.
Someone unfamiliar with sports just asked me who Wooden was. I told them to think of what Bear Bryant was to football, magnify that and they'd be in the ballpark.
