Henry Wrigley hit a towering two-run home run with two outs in the eighth inning to lift the Biscuits to a 5-4 win over the Huntsville Stars on Saturday.
Stephen Vogt stoked a two-out rally with a single and jogged home before Wrigley, whose seventh homer of the year easily cleared the railroad tracks past left field.
The Biscuits rallied from a 4-1 seventh-inning deficit.
Stars starter Kyle Heckathorn exited with two on and one out in the seventh. Montgomery greeted reliever Darren Byrd with a sacrifice fly and an RBI single to make it 4-3. The Biscuits' eighth-inning rally came against Robert Hinton.
Zach Quate worked the ninth for his 14th save. With one out and a runner in scoring position, center fielder Isaias Velasquez made a basket catch with his back to the plate to preserve the lead.
