Sean Halton homered to highlight a four-run third inning and reached base four times to lead the Huntsville Stars in a 6-3 win over the Biscuits on Thursday.
His two-run home run gave the Stars a 2-0 lead. He walked and scored in the fifth to make it 6-1.
Stephen Vogt hit a solo home run in the sixth inning and a sacrifice fly in the eighth for Montgomery. He has 77 RBIs in 88 games this season.
After Biscuits starter Chris Archer gave up six runs (five earned) in 5 1/3 innings, reliever Sergio Espinosa tallied 3 2/3 shutout innings. He worked around seven hits.
