Jeff Davis graduate Josh Dew pitched the ninth inning of a no-hitter for the independent Wichita Wingnuts in a 1-0 win over the Shreveport-Bossier Captains. Dew struck out two batters and picked up his 12th save. Starter Junior Guerra went 7 1/3 innings, Matthew Nevarez finished the eighth and Dew the ninth.
"I've never been in a game like that," Dew told the Wichita Eagle.
