So about this lineup, since I have a chance to look over it today instead of just writing in my scorebook and dashing to the park...

Matt Sweeney has a six game hitting streak, but is also six for his last 27. So why is a guy hitting .222 in ten games and around a buck-fifty overall our designated hitter?

Brett Nommensen rides pine with his season .282 average.

With four guys in the starting lineup hitting under .210 I have to wonder why we are holding Nomm out - if there is a minor injury maybe, but im not aware of one.

Oh hey, that nommensen guy also has more steals this year than the biscuits team steals leader O'Malley. Why is he not playing, or at least DH-ing?

Got any light to shed on that subject, the stands fans want to know!
