Bowling Green shortstop Derek Dietrich's home run binge landed him the Midwest League's player of the week award.
Dietrich had a five-game homer streak end Saturday and is 10-for-26 with eight RBIs over his last seven games. He's hitting .290 with 21 homers and 73 RBIs this year. This is Dietrich's second player of the week award. He also won it for the week of July 4-11.
