Durham pitcher Matt Moore, in the fifth inning in the opening game of a doubleheader with the Charlotte Knights today, recorded his 200th strikeout of the season. He had 131 with the Biscuits, entered today with 63 for the Bulls and just picked up his sixth of the day.
Moore is the only Tampa Bay minor leaguer to reach 200. He did it last season with the high-Class A Charlotte Stone Crabs and finished with 208.
