Tuesday's Rays roundup

Norfolk 6, Bulls 4 (13)
Matt Moore tossed six shutout innings, giving up six hits with a walk and six strikeouts before leaving with a four-run lead. He now has an 0.89 ERA, 23 hits allowed and 63 strikeouts in 40 2/3 innings. Tim Beckham homered, singled twice and stole. Matt Carson homered, doubled and walked. Nevin Ashley singled, walked and was hit twice.

Jupiter 11, Stone Crabs 5
Matt Hall
doubled, walked twice, knocked in a run, scored and erred. Mark Thomas had two RBIs. C.J. Riefenhauser lasted just three innings, giving up seven runs (five earned) on six hits. Deivis Mavarez threw 2 1/2 no-hit innings and Scott Shuman two no-hit innings.

Hot Rods 10, Great Lakes 8
Julio Cedeno
singled twice, stole and knocked in three runs. Phil Wunderlich doubled twice, singled, RBI'd and scored. Derek Dietrich singled twice, RBI'd and scored twice. Mayo Acosta singled, tripled and scored twice.

Vermont 5, Renegades 0
Brooks Belter
threw two perfect innings with four strikeouts. The Renegades totaled four singles, no walks and 12 strikeouts.

Pulaski 5, P-Rays 2
Ryan Brett
singled, walked and erred. Deshun Dixon singled and walked. Drew Vettleson and Taylor Motter hit consecutive doubles in the ninth. Motter scored on a Junior Rodriguez flyout.

GCL Twins 5, Rays 2
Ariel Soriano
singled twice and doubled. Ismel Antunez singled, doubled, walked and scored. Julian Morillo singled, tripled, RBI'd and scored. Isaac Gil threw two perfect innings.
