Shane Dyer's six shutout innings helped the Biscuits take a 7-4 win over the Tennessee Smokies on Thursday in Sevierville, Tenn. Dyer gave up six hits with one walk and one strikeout.
Brad Coon hit a three-run home run to highlight a six-run third inning for Montgomery. Kyeong Kang, whose solo homer in the fifth made it 7-0, had three RBIs and scored twice.
Coon's homer came with none out in the third. Kang hit a two-out, two-run double and scored on a Mike Sheridan triple.
