Guerrieri, 5 other Renegades are N.Y.-Penn All-Stars

Taylor Guerrieri, Tampa Bay's top draft pick a year ago, is one of six Hudson Valley Renegades headed to the New York-Penn League All-Star Game.

Second baseman Tommy Coyle, shortstop Leonardo Reginatto, outfielder Joey Rickard and pitchers Jeff Ames and Marcus Jensen will also suit up for Tuesday's game, which is being hosted by the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

Outfielder Taylor Dugas, drafted from Alabama this year by the Yankees, made it from Staten Island.

Guerrieri, expected to start tonight for Hudson Valley, is 0-2 with a 1.24 ERA in seven starts. He's given up 21 hits with two walks and 25 strikeouts in 29 innings.

Ames is 3-0 with a 1.85 ERA in nine starts with 32 hits allowed, 15 walks and 43 whiffs in 43 2/3 innings. Jensen is 3-1 with six saves and a 4.98 ERA in 15 appearances.

Rickard, drafted this year from the national champion Arizona Wildcats, has a .323 average with 18 runs scored in 24 games. Coyle is hitting .294 with 22 RBIs, while Reginatto has a .289 average.

Dugas has a .319 average, a .468 on-base percentage and 29 runs scored in 37 games.
