Former Auburn star Hunter Morris won his second straight Southern League player of the month award.
Morris, a first baseman with his hometown Huntsville Stars, hit .340 with 10 home runs, 25 RBIs and 16 runs scored in 28 July games.
He's the first back-to-back winner since Delmon Young for the Biscuits in 2005.
Morris ranks second in the league with a .321 average, second with 20 home runsand second with 83 RBIs. His league-best 36 doubles puts him in striking distance of the league record (47 in 1998 by Jacksonville's Gabe Kapler and Robert Fick).
