Hot Rods no-hit in their second game

The Bowling Green Hot Rods, playing their second game, were no-hit by the Hickory Crawdads in the first game of a doubleheader today. Martin Perez, Tyler Tufts and Fabio Castillo combined on it in a 5-0, seven-inning win. The Hot Rods managed three baserunners, all on walks in Perez's four innings. Bowling Green had four hits in a 4-0 loss in the nightcap.
