Opening Day lineups

The bunting is out, the sky is mostly clear and the on-field logo, well, looks OK for the season-opening game between the Biscuits and Diamond Jaxx. Your lineups ...

DIAMOND JAXX
Ezequiel Carrera, cf
Carlos Triunfel, ss
Johan Limonta, lf
Adam Moore, c

Greg Halman, rf
Matt Mangini, 3b
Javier Brito, dh
Jeff Dominguez, 2b

Ceremonial first pitches by Mayor Todd Strange and city council president Charles Jinright. A helicopter will deliver mascot Big Mo with the baseballs to be used. There's also a flyover planned just before the real first pitch -- two Air Force C-130s from the 908th Airlift Wing out of Maxwell.

Biscuits 1st: Nice poke from Jennings, but an F-8 to deep center in his first Double-A at-bat.

Biscuits 6th: Matulia homers in his first Double-A game. Biscuits up 3-nil.

Jaxx 8th: Three runs on one hit. Ugly inning. Jaxx up 4-3.
Biscuits 8th: Josh Fields making his professional debut. Fields' first pitch was Nuke Laloosh-like. The catcher deflected the high pitch to the backstop.
