I'm out of the office from midnight tonight until at least midnight next Saturday and won't be allowed to post anything or return any e-mails. So, if you see any news and want to share, put it in a comment to this post.
A few things to track over the coming week:
1. Draft signings. Check raysprospects.com. They're off to a good start tracking those. (You can see a new standing link to the right, too.)
2. The Rays should soon name their minor-league players of the month for May.
3. The short-season Class A Hudson Valley Renegades open their season Friday. I've heard the players hit the road today. The roster has yet to get out. I've heard two names, but the people who told me would be easily tracked if I shared just those two. The Rookie-level teams get going June 23.
Jay G. Tate of HABOTN.com fame, our Auburn beat writer, is handling the Biscuits the next two days.
Let's hear your thoughts on this: How many golf balls will I lose over the next week?
