Rashad Eldridge's two-run double in the top of the ninth inning lifted the Biscuits to a 6-5 win over the Jacksonville Suns on Sunday at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
Montgomery scored three times with two outs. Fernando Cortez singled to bring home Desmond Jennings, who had singled with one out. Matt Fields singled and moved into scoring position on a throwing error. Cortez advanced to third.
Eldridge followed with his two-run double to put the Biscuits ahead.
It's the first time this season -- and seventh time in Biscuits history -- that the they've won after trailing entering the ninth inning. Montgomery was 6-314 when trailing after eight, entering today, according to Minor League Baseball.
