Jeremy Hellickson threw four shutout innings in his return from a shoulder injury. He allowed four hits, walked none and struck out six.
Of the four hits, only one was clean. There was a dribbler to start the game and another single that appeared catchable, though right fielder J.T. Hall came up short on. There was a hot shot in the third that hit off second baseman Jason Bowers' glove.
Unofficially, 61 pitches for 44 strikes. He was in control.
UPDATE: The Biscuits' chart had Hellickson at 60 pitches for 44 strikes.
