Papelbon to start for Smokies

The Smokies have swapped starting pitchers for tonight's game at Riverwalk, pulling left-hander Casey Lambert in favor of left-hander Jeremy Papelbon.

They scratched Lambert because of an oblique injury. Papelbon, the younger brother of Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon, is 2-3 with a 3.40 ERA in 39 2/3 innings this year. This will be his 19th appearance and fifth start.

There is a third Papelbon brother in baseball. Josh, Jeremy's twin, is a reliever with high-Class A Salem in the Boston organization.

Hey Stacy, Jake McGee pitched today in the GCL but was taken out after three batters. He didn't seem to have it(two singles, a wild pitch, and a reached on error)... Any way you could find out if it was just ineffectiveness, or if his arm was acting up again?

I'm trying to find out. Thanks for letting me know he came back. I knew it was about that time for him.
