Biscuits' bats ripe for picking

The Biscuits are taking batting practice and, oddly, a large bird, perhaps a vulture, is circling the trees past center field. With how the Biscuits have hit lately, well, you know where we're headed with that one.

Montgomery puts its plump .199 average for the month of June on the line tonight against the Smokies for the fourth game in their six-game series.

Biscuits center fielder Desmond Jennings gets to celebrate being picked to the Futures Game. He's out of the lineup for only the second time in the last month.

Warped mind is right. Keep watching for those vultures.

The vultures must have done the trick. 10 hits tonight and a win!
