Shortstop Tim Beckham is one of two players from the Bowling Green Hot Rods who will play in this month's South Atlantic League All-Star Game.
Beckham and pitcher Chris Andujar were picked Monday to play in the game, which will be June 23 in Charleston, W.Va.
Beckham, the No. 1 overall pick in last year's draft, leads the Rods with a .300 average and 31 RBIs, entering tonight. He'll be the starting shortstop for the Southern Division All-Star team.
Andujar is 6-2 with a 3.02 ERA in 12 games, including five starts. Hitters have a .234 average against him in 44 2/3 innings.
UPDATE: Andujar picked up his seventh win tonight and is tied for the league lead.
