More on LeVon Washington

From the fine folks at the Gainesville Sun, here are 26 things you might not know about LeVon Washington.

Infield or outfield at the next level?: I want to play shortstop in college or the major leagues, but the scouts see me playing center field. I just want to play.
The Sun says former Gainesville high schooler Derrick Robinson "has the fastest 60-yard dash time (6.19) recorded in high school baseball history. Washington is second with 6.21."

UPDATE: Here's an ESPN story about Washington. It mentions that he once stole third without the pitcher ever going into his motion. He also transferred to Gainesville High because of differences with the then-Buchholz coach and played as a junior. He returned as a senior under a different coach.
