The Rays have announced nine international signings with five from Venezuela and four from the Dominican Republic.

Eddy Castillo, 17, left-handed pitcher
Francisco Javier Martinez, 17, right-handed pitcher
According to Baseball America, Otanez was one of the top Dominican catchers available this year.
