A's send outfielder to Bulls

Durham has added outfielder Matt Carson from Oakland's Triple-A Sacramento team, MLBtraderumors.com reports citing the Pacific Coast League's transactions page. Carson was hitting .285 with 19 home runs and 65 RBIs in 90 games. The 30-year-old is in his 10th professional season and played a combined 46 games for Oakland in 2009-10.
