Monday's Rays roundup

Stone Crabs 7, Tampa 4
Anthony Scelfo's
two-run, two-out double capped a four-run ninth. Tyler Bortnick singled, walked twice, scored twice, had an RBI and stole.

Hot Rods 8, Dayton 6
Derek Dietrich
hit a solo home run and a two-run single. Julio Cedeno's two-run home run in the seventh helped make it 8-0. George Jensen threw five no-hit innings and walked one. Omar Bencomo kept the shutout alive until the ninth when he gave up five runs.

Renegades 6, Williamsport 1
Jeff Malm
had two RBIs and scored, while Chris Winder just had two RBIs. Craige Lyerly singled, stole twice and scored. Ryan Carpenter, who debuted last week with five no-hit innings, threw five shutout innings with four hits allowed for his first win. Charlie Cononie didn't give up a run until the ninth.

Greeneville 7, P-Rays 2
Drew Vettleson
was 0-for-4 to snap an 11-game hitting streak. Joel Caminero homered, singled, walked, erred and scored twice.

GCL Rays 6, Twins 2
Omar Narvaez
was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Todd Glaesmann singled, walked twice and scored. Trevor Shull allowed one hit over five shutout innings with no walks and three strikeouts.
