Austin Adams tops in Eastern League

Stanhope Elmore grad Austin Adams, after winning two starts over the last week for Double-A Akron in the Cleveland organization, won the Eastern League's pitcher of the week award Monday. Adams, who also played at Faulkner, has won four straight starts to improve to 9-8 with a 3.81 ERA.
