Saturday's Rays roundup

Buffalo 7, Bulls 6
Brandon Guyer
, just off the disabled list, doubled twice, singled and scored three times. Stephen Vogt doubled, tripled and had two RBIs. Leslie Anderson doubled, walked and knocked in two runs.

Stone Crabs 5, St. Lucie 1
Reid Fronk
doubled twice, scored twice and had two RBIs. Anthony Scelfo singled, walked twice and RBI'd. Kyle Lobstein tossed six shutout innings for the second straight time against the Mets. He gave up five hits, walked none and struck out five.

Hot Rods 6, South Bend 2
Kevin Kiermaier
was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored. Robby Price was 3-for-3 with a solo home run, walk and three runs scored. George Jensen improved to 12-4 with five innings of one-run ball. Chris Rearick tossed two perfect innings with four strikeouts.

Tri-City 14, Renegades 3
Leonardo Reginatto
homered and singled. Raymond Church singled, doubled, walked, had an RBI and erred twice. Matt Rice singled twice, scored and erred twice.

Kingsport 5, P-Rays 3
Justin O'Conner
homered, walked and scored twice. Cameron Seitzer singled and walked. Matt Spann tossed six shutout innings, allowing four hits and no walks.

GCL Orioles 2, Rays 1 (11)
Besides Joe Cruz, Edward Dorville hit an RBI triple in the third inning. Michael Bourdon singled, walked and scored. Albert Suarez went five innings, giving up one run on two hits.

Surprised to see that HV Raymond Church stats list him as having a single and a double tonight. We were there and saw his 2 doubles. (He also said he had 2 doubles.) Maybe the HV stats will be corrected tomorrow?

I just rechecked the boxscore and they still have a single. I pulled up the play-by-play and it doesn't have him getting to second base, except for the double.

Sometimes, such things are missed. Official scorers are human, too.
