Cruz continues shutout rehab with GCL Rays

Right-hander Joe Cruz threw four shutout innings Saturday in his third rehab appearance with the GCL Rays. Cruz, who gave up just one hit, walked none and struck out four, has thrown 8 2/3 scoreless innings in his time with the GCL Rays, who lost 2-1 in 11 innings to the Orioles on Saturday. He left the Biscuits in early June due to a shoulder injury.
