Shortstop Derek Dietrich has been promoted from high-Class A Charlotte to the Biscuits.
Dietrich, who was hitting .282 with 10 home runs, 58 RBIs and 49 runs scored in 98 games for the Stone Crabs, will join the Biscuits in time for Sunday's home game with Mississippi.
The 23-year-old is the third player promoted from Charlotte to Montgomery the last week, joining closer Chris Rearick and outfielder Mikie Mahtook.
Dietrich, a second-round draft pick in 2010 from Georgia Tech, was Bowling Green's most valuable player last season. He led Tampa Bay minor leaguers last year with 22 home runs and was fifth with 81 RBIs for the Hot Rods.
