Morning reading: Schenk's big day

Biscuits reliever Neil Schenk started mentally preparing for his extended appearance in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Mobile just after Monday's 14-inning game ended. In the notebook, catcher Mayo Acosta has performed well lately, first baseman Mike Sheridan made two nice plays Tuesday and announcer Joe Davis will miss next week's Jackson series.
