Former Biscuits second baseman Tyler Bortnick, traded Tuesday to the Arizona Diamondbacks, homered tonight for his first hit with the Triple-A Reno Aces. His two-run blast gave the Aces a 10-4 sixth-inning lead over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
UPDATE: The Aces blew the lead, giving up three runs in the seventh and three in the ninth, but they won 11-10 in 11 innings. Matt Gorgen threw two shutout innings for his first Triple-A victory.
