Brad Coon, after giving the Biscuits an eighth-inning lead Sunday, hit an RBI single in the 10th inning to lift Montgomery to a 5-4 win over the Birmingham Barons.
The Biscuits used a two-run eighth inning to take a 4-3 lead, but the Barons rallied in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings.
In the eighth, Ty Morrison scored on a throwing error and Coon drew a bases-loaded walk to force in Omar Luna with the go-ahead run. Birmingham's ninth-inning run came against Biscuits closer Kirby Yates.
Biscuits shortstop Hak-Ju Lee, with a walk in the fifth inning, has reached base in 35 straight games, two shy of the team record set by Evan Longoria in 2007. Lee was 0-for-4.
