Wednesday's Rays roundup

Bulls 16, Gwinnett 8
Rich Thompson
homered, doubled, singled twice and scored four times. Reid Brignac hit a grand slam, singled and walked. Henry Wrigley doubled, singled, walked twice, scored and had four RBIs.

Fort Myers 12, Stone Crabs 4
Derek Dietrich
tripled, singled twice and scored. Todd Glaesmann hit a two-run homer in his debut. Luke Bailey also homered. Kevin Kiermaier walked twice.

Hot Rods 15, Lansing 13 (13)
Ryan Brett
hit a two-run double in the 13th. He also singled, walked twice and scored twice. Josh Sale tripled, singled, walked three times, had three RBIs and scored three times. Jake Hager hit a two-run homer in the first, singled, walked and had four RBIs. Another runner expired at home at the hands (and arm) of Drew Vettleson.

Renegades 10, Tri-City 9 (12)
Marty Gantt
singled home Leonardo Reginatto with the winning run. Gantt singled thrice, walked, RBI'd and scored twice. Tommy Coyle doubled, singled, walked, stole, scored and had two RBIs. Rob Finneran faced the minimum for three innings, giving up a hit.

GCL Rays 2, Twins 1
Clayton Henning
threw out a runner at home in the ninth. Leopoldo Correa hit three singles, walked and scored. Luis Cabrera gave up a run over six innings. Isaac Gil finished with three innings of three-hit ball.
