The Biscuits gave up a season-high five unearned runs and tied a season high with three errors in Tuesday's 10-4 loss to the Mississippi Braves.
Joe Terdoslavich and Evan Gattis each had three RBIs and scored twice for Mississippi. Gattis and Jaime Pedroza homered.
Biscuits starter Jake Thompson gave up eight runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings, but only three runs were earned. Hak-Ju Lee errors in the third and fourth led to unearned runs. A Derek Dietrich error in the error in the sixth led to three.
Montgomery, entering Tuesday, ranked second in the Southern League in defense.
