Johermyn Chavez and Stefen Romero both homered to help the Jackson Generals beat the Biscuits 4-2 on Friday.
Chavez hit a two-run homer in the second to make it 2-0. After Rich Poythress hit an RBI double in the third, Romero rifled a blast over the center-field wall to lead off the fifth inning.
Mikie Mahtook homered for Montgomery to start the bottom of the fifth. The Biscuits also scored in the second when Kyeong Kang singled in Derek Dietrich, who had doubled.
C.J. Riefenhauser, making his first Double-A start in his first Riverwalk appearance, gave up four runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings. He walked two and struck out eight.
