Disabled-list Biscuits Ryan Garko and Joe Cruz say they're close to reaching significant benchmarks on their rehabs.
Infielder Garko, out with an oblique injury, had a lengthy running session today and said he'll try to take dry swings this week before getting into live batting practice.
Pitcher Cruz, out with a forearm strain, said he'll throw from 105 feet Thursday. From there, he'll either throw a bullpen and a live batting practice session or throw two bullpens before hopefully being activated.
