Ball goes through rail for ground-rule double

Huntsville's Andy Machado just missed out on his first home run, though he circled the bases in a home-run trot. The ball went through the rails on the left-field wall for a ground-rule double.

Third-base umpire Brent Rice signaled a home run, but Biscuits manager Billy Gardner calmly came out to argue. The umpires huddled and changed the call. Stars manager Mike Guerrero didn't forcefully argue when the three umps went to him -- though the bench made some demonstrative motions. Machado appeared to say nothing as he returned to second.
