Homer goes for ground-rule double

Another ball just went through the fence in left field -- at least officially -- for a ground-rule double. Ty Wright's blast hit the back fence, bounced off the cement and hit the back of the left-field fence. Home-plate umpire Mario Seneca signaled a ground-rule double and, the most amazing part, nobody argued.

It cost the Smokies two runs. Wright was stranded at second and another runner at third. Tennessee leads 1-0 in the middle of the sixth.

Just watched a replay from WSFA's Derek Steyer. No doubt, that was a homer.
