Smith, Robles lauded by Southern League

Chattanooga infielder Corey Smith and West Tenn left-hander Mauricio Robles won the Southern League's weekly awards today. Robles, who is 3-1 with a 3.30 ERA, won on the strength of a seven-inning, one-run victory Saturday that included just three hits, one walk and 10 strikeouts. Smith is 7-for-13 with two home runs, eight RBIs and five runs scored in his last four games.
