Cobb sent down after no-decision

It's no surprise, but Alex Cobb was sent back to Triple-A Durham after his no-decision today against the L.A. Angels. Cobb went 4 1/3 innings and gave up five runs in the Rays' 6-5 loss.

No official word on who Tampa Bay will promote to take Cobb's place. It won't be Jake McGee, who went down to make space for Cobb. Unless there is a legitimate injury, a demoted player has to stay down 10 days.
